The original Air Jordan 5 was released in 1990, again designed by Tinker Hatfield. Some elements were the same from the Air Jordan 4, but the Air Jordan 5's most distinctive feature is arguably its reflective tongue.Phil Jackson replaced Doug Collins as head coach of the Bulls in the 1989-90 season. Jordan also hit 92 three-pointers compared to only 68 in all of the prior seasons combined! Jordan again took home the scoring title, All-Star, First Team, and All-Defense.
